EAST GRANBY, CT - May 18, 2004 - Nufern Introduces New Polarized Laser Fiber Laser Modules, Enabling Manufacturers To Bring Fiber Lasers To Market.  Nufern, the largest independent manufacturer of fiber intensive fiber laser modules and specialty optical fibers, announced today the introduction of polarized fiber laser fiber laser modules designed around Nufern’s industry-leading Panda-style polarization maintaining large mode area (PLMA) fibers. These fiber laser modules, comprised solely of fiber based components, utilize Nufern’s PLMA-YDF-20/400 fiber and fiber Bragg gratings written in Nufern photosensitive fibers. Nufern’s HP-PLSA-20/400-975 polarized laser fiber laser module delivers a diffraction limited, high power, polarized output without external polarizing elements.
