Nufern announces patent license agreement with nLight Corporation

EAST GRANBY, CT – January 23, 2009 - Nufern and nLight Corporation announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby Nufern licenses to nLight U.S. Patents related to optical fibers. “Nufern believes in the value of IP and is pleased to be entering into this licensing agreement with nLight” said Peter Rainville, Nufern’s Director of Intellectual Property. Nufern and nLight consider that this licensing agreement represents the latest step in the ongoing and mutually beneficial commercial relationship between the companies, and look forward to investigating ways to further enhance the relationship in the future. Nufern, based in East Granby, CT, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of fiber laser and amplifier modules and specialty optical fibers serving industrial, military and telecom applications.
